August 2011, Cool crisp nights and warm near perfect sunny days!

G'day -Cool nights and warm near perfect sunny days, the open road and maybe a camp fire or BBQ in the evening. It doesn't matter really how you chose to tour, be it caravan or car based and motels or cabins, it does not need to be expensive.

Throw a picnic set in the boot and take advantage of the Free bbq's in the park that most towns offer or a cosy pub counter meal.

Maybe take in one of ourFeatured festivals as part of your break or holiday (just be sure to book your accommodation quickly) You'll love it!

This monthI've never seen so many specials on offer to help entice you out into our great outback. Not a month goes by without us getting emails telling us how much people enjoy the site and Alexa (a website traffic ranking site) tells us that too.

We always rank highly amongst the most trafficked websites both in the world and locally - A big thankyou to you all!

As we write this, we are in the final stages of planning out next Outback Roadshow trip. We pick up our brand new New Age Caravan in the next couple of weeks and take off through Outback N.S.W.

The only thing we haven't bedded down is a tow vehicle - I dont think the old cruiser is quite up to it, so if there is a manufacture or dealer out there that can help us please give us a call or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Finally, check out this article on "Fuel prices - The good news" - it puts a different perspective on travel costs.

P.S.Just got a last minute email from Burnsie at the Nindigully Pub to let us know of a couple of Variety Club Bashes that are going throughout the area.

1st one is passing through Nindigully and St George on the way to overnight at Charleville and the 2nd bash will overnight at the Nindigully pub on Monday 22nd August en route to the Gympie Muster.

Steve has planned a night to remember for the "bashes" including a preview of the famous Nindigully Pig Races, throw in a "hens and bucks" night and you've got a Hens, Bucks, and Pigs Party!

Come out and join the party and show your support for  Variety Queensland - the childrens charity

Until next month - we look forward to catching you somewhere in the Outback.

Cheers
