June 2011 What a month June promises to be in the Outback!

G'day - it seems like Queensland has shrugged off the rough start to 2011 and is in Festival (read party) mode and has thrown out the challenge to the other states.

This monthwe have some seriously fun Festivals to take in starting with Throne Races in Nindigully, (where else), Horse Races / Community Fun Day at Stamford, A 3 day Camel Festival in Western Queensland, as well as Opal Festival in NSW, the Nameless Jarndunmunha Festival in Tom Price and the Tara Festival of Cultura and Camel Races.

Many of these festivals offer Free (or cheap) camping and lots of music and entertainment. We also feature some great attractions and accommodation ideas as well.

We've got to say a big thank you to Cheryl and the team from Cameron Corner Store for their hospitality above and beyond the call of duty to the Team from The Southern Crossing motorbike adventures.

Finally, but by no means least we welcome aboard New Age Caravans who are sponsoring us on our journey. With their generous help we will take the website to the people, promoting Outback Australia at shows, festivals and towns all over Australia. A big thank you to Joe, Gabby, Ray and the team at New Age Caravans for making this all possible.
