Alice Spring Beanie Festival

The 4 day outback event -end kicks off with the opening of Beanie Central Alice Springs N.T, home to over 5000 beanies handmade with love from over 400 beanie makers around the globe, this is where the madness and mayhem of finding that special beanie just for you begins.

On Friday night we celebrate the beanie with a big family fun night, live entertainment, food stalls, and the long awaited announcement and show of the winners of the National Beanie Competition. Then we open the Gallery doors to show you the National Beanie Competion Exhibition in all its glory.

The week-end rolls on with Saturday, Sunday and Monday you can join in textile workshops, Indidgenous basket making workshops, try kangaroo tail, enjoy the homemade cakes at the teashop, childrens craft workshops, and catch up on all the beanies in the exhibition at the Alice Springs Beanie Festival N.T.
