Gilgandra Rodeo (Rodeo)

Get ready for some buck jumpin’, rip roarin’ rodeo action at the Gilgandra Rodeo on the Easter Weekend, held annually.

With a rodeo, bull-riding, saddle bronc competition, kids entertainment, fun, games and competitions – there is plenty to keep the whole family amused!

The Gilgandra Rodeo sees over 260 competitors; compete in the fully accredited ABCRA pro event, across a range of events including a bull ride, saddle bronc, breakaway riding, steer wrestling and bare back riding.

Watch as these highly skilled horsemen are put through their paces as they compete for one of the most lucrative prize pools on the circuit.

To celebrate this proud and unique event in Australia’s history, Gilgandra comes alive with a jam-packed schedule of rodeo events over the course of the day. 

There is plenty of food and full bar service available. (No eskies are allowed through the gate)
