Warrumbungle Crooked Mountain Concert (Outback Festivals)
The breathtaking Warrumbungle National Park is the backdrop for this very special outdoor event in November. Come along and get ready to be entertained by the fabulous Diesel, supported by Rob Binks, Jess Holland and the Streamliners. Bring your own chairs or picnic rug…sample some of the delicious regional food and wine on offer from stalls operating throughout the evening. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!
The concert will commence late afternoon with singer/song writer Rob Binks and her orginal folk sound and a local Mudgee rock/country solo artist Jess Holland, followed by a traditional Gamilaroi Welcome to Country. The evening program will commence with well known Gunnedah rock/country band the Streamliners back by popular demand, who will get the crowd dancing with their popular, energetic rock sound.
Our headline artist this year will be DIESEL. Since becoming a solo entity, Diesel has released a string of gold and platinum albums and earned a swag of ARIA Awards (including Best Male). And after 25 years, Diesel has produced an album, ‘Under The Influence’, that defies all preconceptions.
Concert goers are reminded they should bring their own seating, warm clothes as it does cool off at night and a torch is always useful at the end of the evening as you walk back to your car. Buses will run from Coonabarabran and return, but bookings are essential. Why not get a group together and organise a bus to bring you to the Concert…no need for a designated driver!!
This is great family event! Children will be well entertained, with a designated supervised play-space...parents can leave their children with experienced Children’s entertainers from 5.00pm and then settle in to enjoy their evening knowing their kids are safe and in sight.
While our concert goers are welcome to bring a picnic tea with them...we do encourage them to taste the delicious treats from our food and wine stalls.
With great food, wine and coffee, awesome entertainment and the best outdoor concert venue you’ll ever get to…why would you want to go to any other concert?!
