Nullarbor Muster (Rodeo)

On the middle weekend of the April school holidays, the local pastoralists, stationhands and many visitors get together and share an action packed weekend on a property near the seldom-used Rawlina Railway Siding, 380 kms East of Kalgoorlie.

The accommodation is under a blanket of stars, full ablution facilities are available to wash away the dust at the end of the day.

Camp fires are allowed.  The event is fully catered for with the food being very reasonably priced. 

The bar is open during the afternoons and evenings.

The program consists of novelty events for everyone.

Friday night starts with the Iron Man and Women competition, the Nullarbor Boat Race and Open Bullride.

Gymkhana events and barrel racing commences early Saturday with bull riding during the evening. 

The skeet shoot goes all day with arm wrestling and children's novelty events providing entertainment during the lunch break.  Sunday morning things wind down with a ute muster. 

There are excellent prizes to be won for all the events.

Free transport is provided for horses from Kalgoorlie; a 380 km journey east along the Trans Australian Railway line to Rawlinna.
