Jundah Outback Oktoberfest (4WD Adventures)

Oktoberfest originated from the celebrations that took place during the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese in Germany in October 1810.

Locals and visitors alike were encouraged to help commemorate the royal event by enjoying a large range of traditional beer and food whilst joining in festivities including horse racing and a parade.

The Jundah Outback Oktoberfest is held in conjunction with annual races including; the Woolly Caulfield Cup, Jundah Annual Race Meeting and the Inaugural Push Pull & Pedal Billy Cart Bash.

The town of Jundah is located approximately 1200kms west of Brisbane, in Queensland. Jundah is the administrative hub of the Barcoo Shire and the largest of the 3 towns in the shire, with roughly 100 people residing in the town.
