Coonabarabran Tours and Attractions
Coonabarabran Tourist Centre
The Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre is located on the Newell Highway at the southern end of town. Call in and see the local staff who can advise on attractions and national parks that the Coonabarabran and Warrumbungle Region has to offer.
The centre also houses the Australian Museum Megafauna Display. It contains the remains of a Diprotodon, the largest marsupial to ever live. The remains are about 33,500 years old.
