Clermont Museum (Currently Closed for Renovations)

Well worth the visit!
There are many fascinating displays to see include a power shovel from Blair Athol, an old train, the old Masonic Lodge, and old steam engines which were used to shift the town after the flood, a shearing shed and fire engine and these along with the other 8000 historial artifacts and displays make the visit well worth while.
The museum and heritage park were officially opened by one of Clermont's most admired personalities, Mrs Win McTrusty, on October 22 1988.
The development of the museum and heritage park is now an ongoing concern for the Clermont and District Historical Society.
The Clermont Museum is situated on the northern outskirts of town on the Peak Downs Highway.
Museum hours are:
- Mon &Tues 10 to 12
- Wed & Sun 10 to 4pm
- Thurs & Fri 10 to 12 then 2 to 4pm
- Sat 2 to 4pm
