Roma Turf Club

Experience the thrill of bush racing at one of outback Queensland’s best turf clubs. 

The Roma Turf Club boasts great  horse racing, entertainment and a lively atmosphere.

The Roma Turf Club boasts three major race meets - the Roma Cup, Easter in the Country and the Rugby Race Day. 

There are also a number of meetings throughout the year that attract the bush racing scene. 

Roma is around 5 hours from Brisbane and makes a great weekend escape if you are looking for an exciting outback getway. 

ROMA CUP

The highlight of the racing calender is the Roma Cup held in November of each year. This is one of the largest regional racedays in Australia attracting trainers, punters and country racing’s who’s who.

EASTER IN THE COUNTRY RACE MEET   

The other key meeting is the Easter Race meet which combines two great Australian sports in the one location. You can barrack for your favourite team then cheer home your favourite horse.

ROMA RUGBY RACE DAY

Combining two favourite Aussie sports - rugby and races, the Roma Rugby Race Day is held in June.
