Today, the Centre is regarded as one of the most important facilities in Fitzroy Crossing, housing two impressive Aboriginal art galleries and is a central booking agency for all Kimberley accommodation and tours.

The Centre is also an agent for photo processing, BusFreight, Greyhound/McCafferty's and it has a large retail shop, with over 450 items on sale.

The Centre is run as a separate economic business unit, operating its own MYOB financial accounting system in an attempt to be self funding. A small but dedicated staff of 3, ensure that this facility is open six (6) days a week during the busy dry season (April - September inclusive) with a reduction to 5 days trading during the Wet season (October - March), when a majority of the roads to and around Fitzroy Crossing become impassable, due to the high amount of rainfall received during this time of year
