About Cameron Corner
At Cameron Corner, 145 km north-west of Tibooburra, you can stand at the intersection of three states – NSW, South Australia and Queensland. In this vast area of sand dunes and granite outcrops is the famous ‘dingo fence’, the world’s longest, running for 5,000 km along the SA and NSW border.
Cameron Corner is home to the Cameron Corner Store the most remote location in outback Queensland. Each year several thousand people pass this way, either heading toward the Strzelecki Track, or into the Corner Country from South Australia. Some even cross over from New South Wales.
The Cameron Corner Store is open seven days a week for meals, fuel, and minor vehicle repairs. Camping and accommodation are also available from the store.
