Warwick events: Rose and Rodeo City
The two major tourist drawcards for the town are the Rose Gardens and one of Australia's oldest rodeos. During Spring, Warwick comes alive with a spectacular sea or red roses. All the parks and gardens don the vibrant Arafuto rose and this is the best time to visit for rose enthusiasts.
The Warwick Rodeo started in 1857 with the first professional buckjumping contest. Today, it attracts Australia's most experienced competitors and is a brilliant display of horsemanship and entertainment. The Rodeo is held each year in October.
