Australian Cotton Week

AUStralian Cotton week

7-17 March 2007

About Australia's Cotton Week:

It’s almost festival time in Dalby Queensland. The 12th annual Australian Cotton Week is on 7-17 March 2007. This event draws more than 15,000 people to the town each year offering family fun, entertainment and education. The festival’s goal is to bring recognition to one of Australia’s prime agricultural products and celebrate the importance of cotton with fashion, farming and fun.

The festival will begin Wednesday, 7 March, with a Children's Show with the Pooki Doos in the Dalby Great Hall. One of the highlights of the week is the Cocktail Ball with guest designer, Richard de Chazal, where the fashionistas will gather to parade the lastest ensembles of fine cotton!

The rest of the week promises to be jam packed with a Golf Day, Street Parade, country racing, bowls day and charity Mayoral breakfast.
