Take a few days and only a few dollars to enjoy Ilfracombe 

Although not a huge town, literally from welcome sign to welcome sign, Ilfracombe's Machinery Mile is crammed with displays of Australian heritage. Stretched along the Matilda Highway are Museums and Machinery displays all for you to peruse at your own leasure, and unlike most tourist hot-spots, completely free of charge to you.
