The Longreach Tourist Park is a large and spacious park located just off the Matilda Highway a short distance from Longreach’s major attractions.
Boasting a variety of 1 or 2 bedroom cabins and villas, family cabins, ensuite sites and spacious powered and unpowered sites the park has already benefitted from the efforts of well-credentialed new owners John and Cathy Walsh, their family and staff.
A small kiosk stocks basic grocery needs, there is a pool and spas, a well-appointed camp kitchen, clean and tidy amenity blocks all with laundries, a fire pit, several bbq huts as well as a dump point – all make for a pleasant stay in a town with plenty to occupy your time for a few days.
The Woolshed Reataurant – located in the park is also a popular spot to enjoy drinks and a meal whilst watching another famous Queensland sunset.
The park is also home to a family of Brolgas and several Kangaroos that make themselves known to visitors.
