The Long Ride to Sydney 2011

Come and join us!

Riders from across Australia will be riding on pre-planned routes to Sydney.

Visiting over 26 local country towns some outback over 8 days from WA, SA, VIC, NSW and QLD.

It will be an exciting adventure with amazing scenery and wildlife along the way.

Not to mention the great camaraderie and tall stories with new riding mates and the locals!

If you can’t make the whole 8 days why not join us for the weekend or a few days to support the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Fact Sheet:
According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in Australia (except for non-melanoma skin cancers) and the second greatest cause of cancer deaths in men.

It is estimated that over 18,700 new cases were diagnosed in Australia. Tragically, more than 2,900 Australian men each year die from prostate cancer.

In the early stages, there are few symptoms of prostate cancer; however, if detected early, prostate cancer is often treatable and curable.

This is why men aged 50 and over, or 40 if there is a family history of prostate cancer, should not wait for symptoms; they should talk to their doctor about prostate cancer – a simple step that could save your life.
