Toowoomba Tours and Attractions
Cobb & Co Museum in Toowoomba is home to the National Carriage Collection – a beautifully restored collection of horse-drawn vehicles including farm wagons, delivery carts and the famed Cobb & Co Coach. Learn where the old Cobb & Co routes were, the trades that were part of the era (blacksmithing, silver smithing, leadlighting, leatherwork, stonemasonry and copper foiling) and admire the quality workmanship that went into the vehicles on display.
The Cobb & Co Museum also offers a range of Hands-on workshops for those wishing to up-skill themselves in the almost forgotten arts and trades of yesteryear including Glass Art (leadlighting, bead making & copperfoiling), Felting, Silversmithing, Tapestry, Leather craft, Stick Furniture making, Sandstone sculpture and Air brush art.
Entry fees and workshop costs apply.
