What we collect
- Contact form: when you send us a message we receive your name, email address and message. The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party form service, which emails your message to our editorial inbox.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and performance.
- Affiliate and partner analytics: some pages include links and widgets from travel partners such as GetYourGuide. GetYourGuide's partner analytics script loads on our pages and these partners may set cookies or record clicks so they can attribute bookings to us. We may add further travel partners (for example Booking.com, Viator or Klook) and display advertising in future; those partners may also use cookies under their own policies.
We do not sell personal information.
How we use it
We use contact details only to reply to you and to improve our guides. We do not add you to mailing lists.
Third parties
FormSubmit, Vercel, GetYourGuide and any future affiliate or advertising partners process data under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete any message you have sent by using the contact form. This policy is general information guided by the Australian Privacy Principles. We will update it before we add new categories of tracking.
